Sunny Arizona Family Photo's

We have made it a Winter tradition to travel to Scottsdale to visit Nana and Grandpa Jim and the Wood family.  This year was one of the best trips yet and we got some really great family pictures from the wonderful Amanda Marie!  The kids have fun running around in the backyard but we always find a way to pin them down for a few good shots.           www.amandamariephotography.com/

We survived the move!

I really underestimated the difficulty of moving out of state with a three month old.  The past two weeks were pure craziness, Brad was in Milwaukee training for the new job, and I was left alone to pack up the house while caring for baby Owen.  Grammy Drapp came up one day and let me go to my favorite yoga class one more time and get my hair done while she entertained our sweet baby.  Luckily Owen is a pretty happy baby and seemed to enjoy watching mommy pack.

It was sad to say goodbye to all of our good friends in Columbus, my sweet friend Monica threw me a going away party at Brazenhead.  It was so nice to have a night out with the girls.

We packed up the entire house on Friday and stayed in a warm and cozy hotel that night.  Here is daddy snuggling with Owen at the hotel.

We got up super early and were on the road to Lexington by 7 am.  We came straight to the townhome and unloaded a bit before we headed out to Max's basketball game.  It makes us beyond ecstatic that we can see our nephews whenever we want.

We are very happy to be in our new place.  We miss our home, especially the kitchen but this place will be fabulous for at least the next 6 months while we look at homes.

Kentucky bound....

It is time for a blog. We think it will be a great way for our family and friends to check in on the Drapp family, without actually having to talk to us (just kidding)! Really we want to share pictures and we want to attach some stories to them to create a really great personal photo diary for remembering our adventures. Bear with me as I try to get the hang of blogging:)

We are excited to announce we will be making the move back to the Bluegrass state. Lexington, Kentucky is a special place to Brad and I and we have been wanting to move back since the day we left. In the midst of all this excitement, we have to pack, find a place to rent, look for a house to buy, sell our house in Columbus, and keep up with a three month old.

Owen seems to be pretty excited about moving close to two of his cousins, Max and Luke.
