Owen is 6 and Grayson turns 4

This post is a little late, over 4 months late to be exact but I didn't want to forget to post this.  Owen turned 6 on October 6, 2017.  He has grown so much this year with the start of kindergarten and is becoming a sweet and smart little man.

Every year I ask a set of the same questions to the boys so I can record their answers and see how they differ each year.  Here are Owen's questions....

1.  What is your favorite color?  - golden
2.  What is your favorite toy?  - legos
3.  What is your favorite movie?  - The Lego Batman movie

18.  What did you dream about last night?  - going on a hayride and I fell off
19.  What makes you happy?  - when I get to see my friends

Grayson turned 4 on October 28, 2017 and has really started to come into his own this year.  He is becoming more independent from Owen since he doesn't spend as much time during the day with him.  Grayson has been sweet and snuggly since the day he was born and that continues to be true.  He is extremely loyal to those he loves and always puts his loved ones needs before his, however we are definitely going through the terrible 4's right now.

We had a combined birthday party for Owen and Grayson this year.  We had it at the neighborhood playground and really just invited the neighbors.  It turned out to be a perfect day and the kids had so much fun playing with all of their neighborhood buddies.

These two love each other so much!  They love to fight, but they have a blast when they are together.

During their birthday month we rented a cabin in Tennessee with some of our college friends and their kiddos.  It was so much fun to spend the weekend with some of our dearest friends and see our kids get to know one another.  Here are some highlights from the trip...

Leo's baptism

Leo was baptized on Saturday January 27, 2018 at our home church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  Aunt Nicole and Aunt Lauren are Leo's godmothers.  How special, to have two exceptional ladies look after him and help us guide him spiritually.  This day meant a lot to me as we have prayed for Leo for years before he came into our lives.  I am so grateful for this child who has completed our family.  I felt overcome with joy and love on this special day.
Leo was a few days over 9 months old on the day of his baptism.

Leo's Godmothers are a very special part of our lives and we are thankful they could be here to share in this amazing day with us.

We had a great time with extended family too...

After the night was over and the kids were in bed, my sisters and mom and I went out to the Cake Bake Shop to celebrate...
What a wonderful weekend full of love and joy!
