Thanksgiving

Owen had a Thanksgiving lunch at school for all the parents and siblings.  I didn't realize what a production this was going to be, but they did a really great job organizing this event.  First all the kiddos sang a song...

This was Owen's first performance and of course he wanted to get out of line and come show me his hat.  Luckily he followed the directions of the teacher and stayed put, however, instead of singing, Owen decided to disturb his friend Claire aka "kiki" and shake his hat all around to make her giggle.

We held Thanksgiving at our house this year.  I wasn't sure I would want to travel with a four week old baby and a two year old.  I'm glad we decided to stay put this year.

I really didn't take many pictures on Thanksgiving but here are a few....

This is what sweet Baby Gray did while I was cooking all day.

Doesn't Max look so big?!

The day after Thanksgiving we had a LAZY day at home which was wonderful, then we decided to take Owen and Grayson to see their first movie at the movie theater.  Brad and I were excited and nervous to see Owen's reaction.

Owen did a great job during the movie.  It was fun to share in his excitement.  We all really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to taking him again!

The next day we put up our Christmas tree and all of our Christmas decorations.

Owen is VERY excited about Christmas and walks around the house in awe of all the exciting holiday decorations that are now displayed throughout our house.  Grayson on the other hand wasn't as excited about the decorations, he pretty much slept through the entire day....
We have a new visitor in our house - Dewey - the elf.  He will be here until Christmas, keeping an eye on the boys, to report whether they have been naughty or nice to Santa.  Owen doesn't really understand the whole elf thing and he is really not that interested.  Oh well, Brad and I are having fun with it.

  1. You cooked Thanksgiving dinner?!?!?!? You really are super-mom. As far as decorations go, we haven't even started.
