Visti with Santa

Before I get started I wanted to compare the two boys and their first photos with Santa.  The first picture is of Owen with Santa at about 9 weeks old.  

 Here is Grayson with Santa in the same outfit at 5 weeks old.  They definitely look alike.

Tim and Kristin were kind enough to invite us to this Santa open house at one of the pediatric dentist offices in town.  It was really great because there was no line and we were able to take our time and get our own close up photos.  Of course Owen decided to play in his crib for an hour and a half before nap time and didn't fall asleep until 3:00.  Which meant that we had to wake him up and that usually equals a very grouchy toddler.
Here is Owen before we left the house getting a big pep talk about seeing the man in the red suit.  You can tell he is looking a little sleepy and not real happy.  Oh well, we were going to give a try anyways.

On the way there, Owen said he was so excited to see Santa and his sleigh but as soon as we got close to Santa this is what happened.....

 Finally warming up a bit, but still not wanting to sit on his lap...

Of course I would have liked to get both boys on Santa's lap, but that just wasn't in the cards for us that evening.  This is what we settled for instead...

 I wasn't exactly dressed and ready for this event, please excuse my hair and no makeup look.

We came home and Owen decided he wanted us to read him and Grayson in Grayson's bed, so they both snuggled up in his crib and listened to "Pete the Cat".
