It's Halloween.....

We had so much fun dressing up in costumes and going to many different Halloween activities around town.  First we went to Andover's Halloween party.

Here is my little shark walking into the party...

 And my puppy....
Owen was so excited to see his buddies, he was going up to everyone and yelling "roar, I'm a scary shark"...
The Andover party was fun, they had a mini zoo come and the zookeeper brought lots of spooky animals for the kids to see...
Owen and our neighbor Will...
Owen was so excited about all the animals...
He even got to pet a snake...
The next party was Owen's school party.  He had three different costume choices (a fireman, a gorilla and a shark) and he chose to dress as the shark at each and every party.

Next up was Halloween story hour at the Tates Creek Library.  It was really cute and the little ones got to practice what it will be like to say trick or treat that evening.
Here is my little puppy listening or not listening to story hour...
Trick or Treat...

For the most part, Grayson was a pretty good sport about his costume, but I caught him trying to take his hat off at one point in the day...

 My favorite animals...

After the library we came home, got a good nap, and put our costumes back on for the main event, Halloween.  Our friend and neighbor Jen invited us and several other neighbors over for dinner before trick or treat began.
I made mummy dogs...
Jen was VERY brave to have us all over.

Then it was finally time to trick or treat.  The sun came out and it stopped raining right at 6:00 so we headed out...

Here is our whole crew...

My favorite costumes for the evening...

 Love these two little cuties...
The big kiddos had so much fun...

Grayson even got in on the action...

Best buddies for life...

After we went around our neighborhood, we wanted to see our cousins, so we drove over to Marc and Meg's (which is only a few minutes from our house) and found these characters...

Batman and a Scuba Diver...
Here's what the real Batman looks like underneath, he is pretty sweet...
 And saw our Auntie Nene...
We had such a fun Halloween, Owen was really into it this year as I think he will be with all of the upcoming holidays.  It makes my favorite time of the year even more special!!

My mom sent this to me so I had to share, it goes along so well with the Batman costume and the kids call her Nana, get it?
