November News

We have been busy, busy, busy!  I need to catch you up on some of the things we were up to in the month of November.

The boys recovered from some serious colds last month - I have not seen either of my boys this sick before.  It was just a cold but it came on strong and they both had fevers, terrible coughs and just felt sick.  I found Owen passed out at nap time...
Grayson suffered from his first ear infection...

After the boys felt better, we decided to join daddy on his business trip to Indianapolis...
We enjoyed going to dinner with daddy....
 We explored Carmel's amazing mall...

We went to some awesome parks...

We went swimming at the hotel pool....

Although we had a really great time traveling with Brad, I think he prefers to travel alone for work....

After we returned home I had a special date with these two boys.  I took them to see Annie Jr. at the Lexington Opera House...

The boys had a sleepover with their cousins...

We had some photos taken of the boys this month.  The photographer was running a special on these photos and the session date was a weekday so unfortunately Brad was not around to be in any of the photos.  But we did get a few really cute ones of the boys...

The first snow of this season came this month.  Grayson really wanted to join his big brother outdoors...

Owen woke up to see the snow outside and he said, "oh wow, mommy, look at all that snow!  It smells like sugar.  I just want to taste it".

We had some movie dates with our neighborhood friends...

We had a breakfast date with another one of our friends...

Here is a flashback from Grayson and Caroline's first breakfast date...

We made some delicious brownies...

Owen had a Thanksgiving performance and we ate a delicious Thanksgiving feast....

After Owen's school feast we went to Mimi and Poppy's house in Ohio for the real Thanksgiving.  Brad and I ran in a 5k turkey trot...

When we got back to the house both boys were awake and my favorite parade was on TV.

That evening we celebrated Thanksgiving at the Drapp home and Grayson participated in his first Thanksgiving meal.  He especially liked the dressing...

We are now in full Christmas mode and have been working to provide a ton of fun holiday experiences for our boys.  More on that in another post.
