Grayson is 1 - Part 2

A couple of weeks ago we had a small family birthday party for Grayson's first birthday.  It was a lot of fun to do a Fall/Halloween themed party.

I made a small pumpkin smash cake for Grayson...

And a spider cake for everyone in attendance...

Grayson loved having so many people to give him attention while he daintily ate a few bites of icing from his cake...

Then it was time to open presents...

Owen of course wanted to help, but some very nice family members got Owen some presents as well since his birthday was celebrated too...

Brad happened to be out of town on Grayson actual birthday so we celebrated as a family a day late.  We had our usual sprinkle pancakes and Grayson got to open a couple of presents from us.

The day before Owen wrapped a present for Grayson that he picked out (or I directed him to) and bought with his own money at Target the day before.  He was so excited to wrap it and give it to Grayson he could hardly wait the day for Grayson to finally open it.

PS.  Owen is wearing underwear - we are pretty much potty trained now, while at home.

What a fun and BUSY birthday month we have had at the Drapp house.  I can tell you one thing, I am exhausted and definitely glad we have a long break before we have another birthday party in our house.  

We went to the doctor today and got both boys checked out for their yearly appointments.  Here is what we found out...

Grayson - 1 year

weight:  21 lbs. 4 oz. (28th percentile)

height:  30 inches (57th percentile)

Owen - 3 years
weight:  29 lbs. 6 oz (24th percentile)
height:  36 3/4 inches (28th percentile)
BMI:  15.39 (29th percentile)
